Department of Engineering Chemistry, PTU, was established in 2007 and imparted to the undergraduate program for all first year students as engineering chemistry subject.Engineering chemistry course for first year students explores the key area of chemistry needed for engineers.Department of Engineering Chemistry aims at bridging the concepts and basic knowledge of chemistry with examples and practical work, thus reinforcing the connection between science and engineering.

Objective

To know and understand the basic principles of engineering chemistry subject for all BE first year
To lean the lessons of engineering chemistry by studying with practical works

To approach the technological subjects scientifically with basic knowledge of science
