Pyay Technological University was established in 2^nd February 1998. At that time there is no separate department for Myanmar. Myanmar Department was formed in collaboration with English Department.

            In January 2019, Myanmar Department was organized  with Associate Professor, Lecturer, Assistant Lecturer, Tutor and senior staff office.The department takes not only teaching responsibilities but also helds the competition in order to improve language proficiency.

To speak fluently and write accurately  the mother language and literature.

 To be familiar with Myanmarsar, Myanmar language, Myanmar traditional and culture.
